The Zionist Organization of America was funded in 1897.  It's not the biggest Zionist group in the U.S., but it's one of the most vile.  It gave its "Herzl Award" to Donald Trump even though his campaign and administration lead to a rising tide of hate and antisemitism.

 The ZOA opposes even the smallest Palestinian state as a danger to the "existence" of Israel.

July 15, 2023    When JFK Jr. mad the outrageous and antisemitic claim that COVID-19 had be created to ethnically spare Jews, the NY Post reported that "Klein, who said he had been advising Kennedy on Israel issues and called him a 'good friend,' said the remark left him 'worried.'”  Morton Klein frequently rants lies about supposed antisemitism of politicians he doesn't like, but nothing about what JFK Jr. said.

June 26, 2023  Agrees with Senator Cruz who says Biden Administration is "pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel " because it reversed Trump policy and went back to traditional State Department policy of not subsidizing Israel colleges like Ariel in land taken in 1967.

June 7.  ZOA chief Klein appears on Sebastian Gorka radio show.  Gorka was  Deputy Assistant to the President (Trump) for much of  2017, but was fired.  One controversy was over Gorka alleged  "membership in a historically anti-Semitic military order" the Vitézi Rend.  He wore a Vitézi Rend medal during Trump's inauguration dinner.  Needless to say Gorka if far-right obsessed with Islamism.

May 2023 the ZOA slammed Biden because he did not center his program to counter antisemitism around a definition that's involved with Israel and because he didn't condemn "Islamism".

After Trump meeting with antisemites Ye and Fuentes ZOA president Morton Klein said it was "deplorable" in an interview, but also that it "makes no sense" because Trump is such an "extraordinary" friend of Israel.

November 15, 2022 ZOA gives Donald Trump its "highest honor", the Herzl Award

In November 2022 Morton Klein who has headed the ZOA for 30 years was named in a lawsuit, which alleges "sexist, racist behavior" by his former deputy who claimed Klein  has a history of denigrating Black people and women.

2121 Boston Jews say ZOA "elevated white supremacist voices"

On June 6, 2020 it's president Morton Klein tweeted, "' Black Lives Matter' is a Jew hating, White hating, Israel hating, conservative Black hating, violence promoting, dangerous Soros funded extremist group of haters” 

He has viciously criticized HIAS, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society “They are resettling largely anti-Semites,” he said of HIAS’s assistance for refugees from Syria and Iraq, “which endangers the Jews of America and harms Israel because these people end up lobbying against Israel.”   Recall that HIAS was the group that 2018 synagogue mass-killer was so angry about.

Jan 2019 Morton calls Linda Sarsour a "Jew-hating Islamic radical".

In 2018 he defended his use of the slur "filthy Arab" in twenty tweets

In 2017 he attacked Muslim leader Linda Sarsour as a "bigot and divider" and an "extremist".

In 2016 the ZOA criticized another Zionist organization because it set up an interfaith group with the Islamic Society of North America over alleged links to "terror" groups.
